It seemed that nothing was going to slow down the riders at the 2015 Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle... even the weather!
The rain came and whilst a few worried faces wondered what plan b would be, it turned out a bit of patience was all that was needed and the Kelly McGarry designed track was ready to role. Featuring a wharenui (house) element as a key feature, the track was popular with riders, visitors and locals alike.
At the end of the day, only one name was going to go on the record as the inaugural winner... and that was Brett Rheeder, scoring an impressive 93.33 on his first run.
