Turner Bikes King Khan Preview

Turner Bikes King Khan Preview

Let's get this out of the way right now... Turner Bikes have launched a fat tired bike, like so many others have in 12 months, but with the King Khan ver 1.0 they have developed something that is really so much more.

Featuring a Dave Weagle, DW Link design with 5 inches of travel front and rear, so it's not just a hard tail bike with fat tires to tackle snow, sand and mud, the King Khan is being pitched by Turner as an adventure bike.

Traditional adventure bikes tend to be focused on durability and simpleness and a compromise that many adventures have riding that'll take place on roads, ranging from sealed to forestry track. The general scope being the trail will be pretty hard, durable and can be ridden in most weather conditions, so the King Khan with it's fat tires and long travel will suit a wider range of conditions. You'll pay the price of added weight when going up hills, however the added ability means you'll just keep on going.
