2013 Saracen Myst DH Goes Carbon

UK bike company Saracen have released details of their 2013 model year Downhill racer, the Myst and the update is going carbon for strength.

It's not complete carbon construction like current bikes from Santa Cruz and Trek, but rather a composite carbon rear triangle on the back of an traditional aluminium alloy front end. Saracen have saved 600g on the 2012 Myst year model and say that going full carbon would not have delivered the same weight saving or performance gains, it would have also significantly driven up the final retail price.

It'll be available in two versions, the Team and the Pro, though I'd be keen on the charcoal on black version without all the stickers.. I'll have a word and see shall I?
