2015 Lourdes UCI World Cup Downhill: Qualifying Highlights

It was anticipated that as a new course, Lourdes, France would throw up some challenges to kick the 2015 UCI World Cup Downhill riders about a bit... but no-one quite foresaw how unforgiving the track would become.

The riders who could find the best lines and set their bikes for the rough seemed to come away better off... well at least make it down in one piece.

Hannah Barnes secured the top run, though she was hounded by Myriam Nicole and Emmeline Ragot, both hoping to make the most of a local track.

Many were surprised by how competitive Josh 'Ratboy' Bryceland was on his first major event since his horrible accident last year, however he was still behind Loic Bruni and Remi Thirion.
