2015 Scott Bikes Big Ed Preview

Despite the comedy footwear, the 2015 Scott Bikes Big Ed is a serious bike!
It's got all the features you'd expect of a serious hard-tail, 2x10 drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, RockShox front forks... you just need to get over the serious rubber before you hit the trail.

The Big Ed fat bike features the recently released Rockshox Bluto fat tired fork and it'll certainly get you from here to there, no matter what weather or trail conditions you have to encounter. The addition of the Bluto fork will make Big Ed more trail friendly in dryer conditions, when the 100mm of travel will be more welcome.

In theory the 4" wide Kenda Juggernaut tires should also work well in rocky conditions, rolling over the sort of edges that'd catch out tires on a 'regular' mountain bike. Of course the trade off will be speed and agility when you need to climb.
