2015 Giant Glory 27.5 - Preview

Team rider Dany Hart is rumoured to have described his first run on the prototype Giant Glory 27.5 downhill bike as "strange", however a couple of runs later and he'd set a personal best time for the San Romolo track.

That prototype bike has been run by Giant factory riders Danny and Andrew 'Needles' Neethling throughout the 2014 UCI World Cup Downhill season and now Giant Bicycles have released details of their 2015 production downhill bikes.

It's an all new frame running the Giant Maestro suspension and includes niceties, such as internal cable routing, integrated bump-stops and bearings in the rear linkage where it mounts to the shock. Also Giant are sticking with their proprietary ALUXX SL grade aluminium alloy, there is no carbon fibre framed option.

There will be three models, the top of the line is the Glory 27.5 0, then the Glory 27.5 1 and the Glory 27.5 2, all available in small, medium and large sizes.
