Unveiled by Lapierre at the Fort William UCI World Cup is the latest downhill bike with a 27.5” wheels. The new 2015 Lapierre 27.5 Downhill bike brings quite a few changes from the previous model, as it’s a new frame, new wheels and a new suspension system.
The new rear-suspension system replaces the rather complex Pendbox design with a single-pivot design dubbed Supra Link Technology. Lapierre say they were inspired by motocross designs to deliver their 210mm travel solution.
For the Fort William event only team rider Emmeline Ragot was riding this new bike... and she rode it to victory, securing first place.
