Pivot Mach 6 Carbon Preview


All new for 2014 model year, Pivot have released the Mach 6 Carbon, a 6.1" travel bike with all the usual Pivot features, such as the continual development of the DW link technology and the pursuit of light strong bikes.

The Mach 6 Carbon is defined by Pivot as a trail bike, however running on 27.5" wheels and a uniquely developed rear Fox Float X CTD the reality is this bike is going to be sought out by riders looking to make an impact in the enduro racing format.



Highlights:
  • 6.1” (155mm) travel next generation dw-link® suspension design with position-sensitive anti-squat that pedals, accelerates and handles like nothing else for aggressive trail riding conditions.
  • Pivot exclusive hollow box, high-compression internal moulding technology allows for greater compaction and smoother internal walls resulting in a lighter, stronger, highly optimised frame design with the best stiffness to weight ratio in the class.
  • Pivot specific, custom tuned Float X CTD (with Kasihma) shock technology: Increased performance and adjustment range allows riders to quickly and easily adjust for changing course or ride conditions.
  • Internal top tube shift cable routing and down tube dropper seat post routing keeps cables clean and running smooth. 
  • Rubberised leather chainstay, inner seat stay, and down tube protectors for a quiet ride and higher impact resistance.

Available in frame and Fox Float X (with Kasihma) and build kit options from both Shimano and Sram. 3 frame colours: Blue, Black/Green and Black. Frame sizing from XS to XL.

The Mach 6 carbon should be available from October onwards.
